Cats are for Women, Dogs are for Men

It must be so, for anyone who has had both should understand. Cats are so like women: they are lovers of luxury, and they groom themselves incessantly. They will scratch and bite and hiss when they do not get their way, and purr when they are petted. Cats are cunning, sneaky, lithe, and watch you whilst you sleep, and they insist upon clean water and a clean house. Cats are self - centered.

Cats are spoiled and vain; and they will come when you call, but they love to play hard to get. Cats are dreamy and romantic, and will perch themselves on windowsills for hours and watch the sun go down; cars passing, mailmen delivering packages, and small children in pale yellow slickers waiting for school buses. Cats are the queens of their castles, and would sleep on your face, if they could.

Dogs are clumsy and messy. They either shower you with attention or they're strong and silent. Dogs are athletic and they have short attention spans. Dogs have no sense of fidelity or monogamy and will hump whatever and whomever they feel like; whenever or wherever they want, and this also holds true when it comes to pissing and shitting. Dogs will eat anything and they are oblivious to germs. Dogs love to defend their homes, and are incredibly loyal and protective of whoever gives them food and water and shelter. And they hate being tied down; but once committed, they are loving and generous to a fault. .

Dogs chase cars like it's their addiction, but they are incredibly patient. They are playful daredevils, and love to get their paws dirty, and they will swim through a murky duck pond to catch your frisbee, without hesitation.

Dogs are natural heroes, whilst Cats are the natural 'damsels in distress'. However, I think it is wise to have one of each, a sort of yin yang for your household. I love dogs, but I just can not do without my pussy cat.
